Lizzie is a creative producer, editor/dramaturg, and writer in New York. She is the Literary Director at Playwrights Horizons, an off-Broadway theater company that produces new plays and was named New York’s best theater company by Time Out in 2023. At Playwrights, Lizzie helps curate season programming, provides playwrights with dramaturgical support, and is Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Playwrights literary magazine, Almanac, where she contributes her own essays, and she helps run a fully-subsidized financial literacy program for theater artists. Outside of Playwrights, Lizzie is currently working with David Byrne on his next book. She is a playwriting alum of EST/Youngblood, Clubbed Thumb’s Early Career Writers’ Group, and SPACE on Ryder Farm. Born and raised in New York City. BA from Williams College.
